Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, arrived in Prayagraj to take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during the ongoing Maha Kumbh. Speaking about the grand occasion, Shinde described the Maha Kumbh as a transformative event, celebrating social, cultural, and spiritual change. He emphasized the inclusive nature of the Kumbh, where people from all walks of life come together to immerse in the sacred waters of the Sangam of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati.

"This is the biggest Kumbh. There is no discrimination here, all kinds of people take a holy dip," Shinde said, acknowledging the spiritual significance of the event. He also praised the arrangements made for the devotees, thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for ensuring such a smooth and well-organized experience. The Triveni Sangam, considered a very pious place, continues to attract millions, symbolizing the unity and harmony among diverse communities.
