M2M Ferries has devised a sea route to sail between Mumbai and Goa with your car on board. M2M Ferries has brought a RoPAX Vessel to sail on this sea route. It is similar to the one they run between Mumbai and Alibaug, it is a roll-on, roll-off passenger ferry that can carry both passengers and vehicles. This service is in the process of securing approvals to run between Mumbai and Goa.

M2M Ferries said that the vessel they operate between Mumbai and Mandwa in Alibaug can complete the Mumbai-Goa Journey in six and a half hours.

An official from M2M Ferries said that they have bought a 15-year-old second-hand vessel from Italy to travel between Mumbai and Goa. They have applied for permission from the Director General of Shipping and other agencies.

The ferry service company is planning to run this RoPAX service from Ferry Wharf in Mazgaon in Mumbai, to the Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) in Goa.  The official also said they are requesting the Goa Government to allow their new vessel to dock at a jetty at Panaji, as MPA is near Vasco.

The capacity of this vessel is huge as it can accommodate up to 620 passengers and 60 cars. The company will soon decide the fare price of this service.
