Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday addressed the state on a number of issues. The CM has been targetted by political leaders on the Kangana Ranaut issue and the state's tackling of the covid-19 situation.

In his address to state on Sunday CM Thackeray broke his silence and spoke in a gesture without naming Kangana and Sushant Singh Rajput.

"I will have to remove the mask of Chief Minister to respond to politics. I don't speak doesn't mean I don't have answers," Thackeray said. He also said that a conspiracy is being planned to malign Maharashtra.

Kangana had compared Mumbai to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. After this, Shiv Sena leaders engaged in a war of words against Kangana. After Kangana reached Mumbai on September 9, BMC demiolished her office. BMC's demolition drive received flak from everyone.

Thackeray said his government has done effective work to tackle the pandemic a say after COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra crossed the 10-lakh mark.
