Maharashtra government on Friday allowed BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) buses to operate with full capacity.

While allowing buses to run in full capacity the state authorities have ordered BEST to strictly follow COVID-19 protocols. The state government has ordered passengers to wear face masks and use hand sanitisers while commuting.

Meanwhile, the BEST officials are planning to increases buses on certain routes during morning and evening peak hours. 

The BEST (Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport) resumed its regular operations from June 8.
