In a shocking incident, a 10-month-old girl was thrown out of a cab and her mother molested inside the vehicle on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway in Maharashtra's Palghar district. Unfortunately, the toddler girl died after she was thrown away from the cab.The Police registered a case under Sections 304 and 354 of the IPC against Vijay Kushwaha and others for allegedly molesting a woman in a moving car on Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway. In the incident, the woman's 10-month-old child died, while the mother is undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.
The incident happened when the woman was travelling with her 10-month-old baby from Pelhar to Poshere in Wada tehsil in a cab on December 10 morning. Police said that the woman had taken a can which was shared by some other passengers also. According to the woman, the cab driver and some co-passengers tried to molest her and when she resisted, they snatched away the baby girl and flung her from the speeding cab.The toddler died on the spot while her mother sustained injuries as she was also thrown out of the vehicle.The woman has been hospitalised. The case was registered at Mandvi Police Investihgation is currently underway.
