Chinmaya Mission Mumbai, a prominent spiritual and cultural organisation rooted in the global Chinmaya Movement founded by Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda, continues to inspire individuals through timeless Vedantic wisdom and spiritual education. For over seven decades, the Mission has been dedicated to nurturing inner growth, ethical living, and social responsibility, positively impacting thousands of lives across the city and beyond.

As part of its 75th anniversary celebrations, Chinmaya Mission Mumbai will organise a grand spiritual congregation titled “Chant Mumbai – Shant Mumbai” on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at BKC, Bandra. The event will feature 108 Samashti Shri Hanuman Chalisa Havans, bringing together more than 20,000 devotees in collective chanting and prayer for peace, harmony, and well-being.

The Hanuman Chalisa, composed by Goswami Tulsidas, holds immense spiritual significance in Hindu tradition. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, it is revered for its power to instil courage, remove fear, and strengthen mental and emotional resilience. Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa is believed to dispel negativity, offer protection, and provide inner stability, making it especially relevant in today’s uncertain and fast-changing times.

In an era marked by stress, unpredictability, and emotional challenges, people are increasingly reconnecting with their spiritual and cultural roots to seek peace, strength, and clarity. Collective chanting and sacred rituals such as havans foster a sense of unity, calm, and hope, encouraging individuals to pause, reflect, and reconnect with higher values. Open to all, the event aims to create a powerful spiritual atmosphere where devotees from diverse backgrounds can come together in devotion and collective prayer, reaffirming faith, resilience, and inner harmony for Mumbai and the world.
