An email threatening to blow up the car of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was received by the Goregaon Police Station. Following this, an FIR was registered under Sections 351(3), 351(4), and 353(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The Mumbai Crime Branch, with the assistance of Buldhana Police, has taken two accused into custody in connection with the case. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mangesh Achyutrao Vayal (35) and Abhay Gajanan Shingane (22).

Both accused are residents of Deulgaon Mahi, Tehsil Deulgaon Raja, in Buldhana district. The police arrested them from Buldhana and are bringing them to Mumbai for further investigation.
