Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has received a death threat, with an unknown person threatening to blow up his car with a bomb.

 

The Goregaon Police received an email from an unidentified sender containing the threat. Similar threat emails have also been reported at Mantralaya and JJ Marg Police Station.

 

The police have launched an investigation to trace the sender of the threatening email.

 

As per the initial investigation, police suspect this to be a hoax email.
