A minor dispute over food escalated into a violent clash past midnight in the area of Mumbai, triggering panic in the locality. The have detained 15 individuals in connection with the incident and registered a case.

 

According to police officials, the incident occurred around 1:45 am on April 10 outside Trilok Hotel and Bar located on LBS Marg. The police received information that a group of 10 to 15 people were involved in a violent altercation.

 

Upon reaching the spot, police found both groups attacking each other, creating chaos in the area. Preliminary investigation revealed that a group of customers had visited the hotel for food. During their visit, an argument broke out with the staff over an order of keema pav and the bill amount.

 

The situation quickly escalated from a verbal altercation to physical violence. Customers have alleged that hotel staff assaulted them, while the staff claimed that the customers initiated the attack. Both parties have filed complaints against each other.

 

As the situation worsened, additional police personnel were deployed to control the mob. All those involved were taken to the police station. However, tensions continued even at the police station, with some individuals engaging in heated arguments.

 

Police have registered a case against all involved for rioting and disturbing public peace. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
