Mumbai, Maharashtra (February 20, 2025): The Maharashtra Cyber Cell on Thursday has recorded statements from actor Raghu Ram, comedian Devesh Dixit and YouTuber Shashwat Maheshwari in connection with the India's Got Latent controversy case, IANS reported.

The cyber department has been recording statements of individuals who appeared on the episodes and is expected to question more people as the case unfolds.

The controversy erupted after Allahbadia, known as "BeerBiceps," made a comment in a recent episode of India’s Got Latent, featuring comedian Samay Raina, YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, and social media influencer Apoorva Makhija. During the show, he asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?"

The video was later removed from YouTube after the government issued a notice. Multiple police complaints were filed against him.

According to reports, the Supreme Court has ordered Allahbadia to submit his passport to the investigating officer at the Nodal Cyber Police Station in Thane. The court has also prohibited him and his associates from broadcasting any shows on YouTube or other platforms until further notice.

After the backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology, calling his comments a "lapse of judgment." He said, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry."
