After Kunal Kamra called Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Gaddar in his recent YouTube video, Shiv Sena workers vandalized the property. After that, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials reached The UniContinental Studios in Khar, Mumbai, and demolished the place. Information about why the demolition was done by BMC is not known yet.

During this drive at Khar, Municipal Joint Commissioner Vinayak Vispute was present at the studio.

News Agency ANI reported that the officials entered the premises with hammers in their hands.

Since elections are near, the ruling coalition maintains control over the civic body, which is now led by an IAS officer. In light of this, the action against the Mumbai studio is probably going to provoke harsh oppositional criticism and intensify the dispute.

After the recent Kunal Kamra controversy The Habitat is shutting down indefinitely. It announced its decision after Shiv Sena workers decided to vandalize the premises.
