A tragic incident came to light in a hotel in Santacruz, where a 24-year-old woman named Ishani kumari was found dead by suicide. The police did not recover any suicide note from her, leaving the reason behind her extreme step unclear.

According to the police, Ishani kumari had come to Mumbai to meet her boyfriend. After meeting him, she took the drastic step, raising suspicions about her relationship dynamics. As part of the investigation, the Vakola Police will question her boyfriend and family members. The police have registered an ADR (Accidental Death Report) in the case.

Ishani kumari, a native of Bihar, lived with her family there. She was currently pursuing her education in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. A few days ago, she traveled to Mumbai and had been staying at Laxmi Palace Hotel in Santacruz’s Vakola area.

On Tuesday, she reportedly went to meet her boyfriend and later returned to the hotel. However, when the check-out time passed and she did not leave the room, the hotel staff attempted to contact her. After receiving no response, they knocked on her door but got no reply.

Finding the situation suspicious, the hotel staff alerted the Vakola Police, who rushed to the spot. Upon breaking open the door, they discovered Ishanikumari hanging in the room. She was immediately rushed to V. N. Desai Hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Meanwhile, as Ishanikumari had not been responding, her brother had also arrived in Mumbai to search for her. During his search, he learned that his sister had died by suicide in a hotel. He then rushed to the Vakola Police Station and later identified her body at the hospital.

Since no suicide note was found, the exact reason behind her decision remains unknown. The police are investigating whether she was able to meet her boyfriend or not before her death. As part of the probe, the boyfriend and family members will be questioned. Officials believe their statements will help uncover the reason behind her suicide.
