The deceased has been identified as Ashok Avinash Tulase (30), a resident of Ashok Nagar in Sakinaka. According to the complaint, Ashok had allegedly stolen a mobile phone belonging to Suresh Dunghav. Enraged by the theft, Suresh and his son Laxman Dunghav confronted Ashok in the Kajupada area of Sakinaka. The duo then launched a violent attack, kicking and punching him repeatedly. During the assault, Ashok was pushed to the ground, causing a severe head injury. He lost consciousness on the spot.
