In a tragic incident at the Maharashtra Director General of Police (DGP) Office premises in South Mumbai’s Colaba area, a 43-year-old Public Works Department (PWD) employee lost his life after a tree branch fell on him.

 

The deceased has been identified as Anil Gore (43), who was working as an electrician with the PWD department. The incident occurred on Thursday while he was on duty. According to reports, Gore was walking to drink water when a large tree branch Suddenly fell on him, leaving him critically injured.

 

He was immediately rushed to St. George Hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

 

The incident has caused grief among his colleagues and people in the area. Colaba Police have registered a case of Accidental Death (ADR), and further investigation is currently underway.
