The Juhu police have arrested five accused in connection with a murder that stemmed from a minor dispute. According to the police, the altercation began over a trivial matter—why someone was befriending outsiders. The argument escalated, and a group of nine individuals allegedly attacked a young man, leading to his death.

The accused reportedly used different weapons to assault the victim, leaving him severely injured. He was rushed to the hospital, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

FIR Registered Against Nine Accused

According to police sources, an FIR was registered on March 24. The accused named in the case include Mohammad Syed, Tabish Usman Qureshi, Usman Qureshi, Aman Usman Qureshi, Hasan Syed, Iman Bibijan Shaikh, Rizwan Syed, Siraj Syed, and Azhar Qureshi. The dispute initially began on March 11, when the deceased, Gaus Patel, was allegedly abused without any reason. The argument escalated, eventually leading to Patel’s murder.

Police Investigation and Arrests

The police have so far arrested five accused in the case. Reports suggest that the accused attacked Patel using sharp weapons and bamboo sticks. During the assault, Patel was pinned down, and a sharp weapon was used to stab him in the back, leaving him critically injured.

Patel was immediately taken to Cooper Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. The police have registered an FIR and arrested the accused. Further investigation into the case is underway.
