In a shocking incident captured on video, a BEST bus conductor was seen slapping a passenger who was recording a dispute on the bus. The video, posted by Twitter user @Amarjee41233274, has quickly gone viral, drawing attention from both the public and officials. The footage begins in the middle of an argument between the bus conductor and another passenger. The situation escalates when the passenger recording the incident repeatedly asks, "But does he have to get down?" while tapping the conductor’s arm. The conductor, visibly agitated, turns around and slaps the passenger while shouting, "Video shooting mat kar!" (Don’t shoot videos!) He then attempts to snatch the phone from the passenger’s hand. As tensions rise, another passenger intervenes, defending the right to record the incident and questioning the conductor's aggressive behavior. The conductor continues to yell, "Video shooting nahi karneka, video shooting mat kar," while another passenger tries to de-escalate the situation. The passenger who was slapped defended himself, revealing he had a valid ticket and questioning why the conductor was being rude. In response, the conductor harshly told him to stop talking and sit down.

"If a bus passenger is killed, does the government allow this act to be committed by a person called the bus conductor? If not, then immediate action should be taken against this person, so that no further travel is disturbed." The post quickly garnered attention, with many condemning the conductor’s behavior. The user tagged key officials, including the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Deputy Minister Eknath Shinde, and Mumbai Police. In response to the post, Mumbai Police urged the victim to visit the nearest police station and register an official complaint. The authorities have assured that necessary action will be taken once a formal complaint is lodged. The incident has sparked outrage online, with many expressing their frustration over the conductor’s aggressive behavior. Passengers and citizens alike have called for strict action against the conductor, emphasizing that public transport staff should maintain professionalism and respect towards passengers.
