A dilapidated wall near the Masjid railway station in Mumbai collapsed. The incident happened this morning. As a result, local traffic was running 15 minutes late in the morning. A special mega block is being taken up on the harbor line of the Central Railway to remove part of this dilapidated wall. Trains will not be available on the harbor route between CSMT and Wadala during this emergency block. The time of the block will be announced shortly. Passengers on the harbor route between the blocks were allowed to travel on the mainline from Kurla, Dadar, Central Railway said.

This morning, part of a private wall of a civilian settlement near Masjid station collapsed near the track. The incident took place around 7.15 am. Railway staff immediately removed the fallen section and smoothed traffic on the harbor route from 7.30 am. The concerned officials of Mumbai Municipal Corporation were asked to secure that part of the private wall. The Central Railway has informed that a two-hour emergency block is being taken in a short time as it is important to keep the area safe in order to keep the traffic smooth. Central Railway is providing all kinds of assistance to Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
