Train traffic on the Ambivali to Titwala section of the Central Railway has been severely disrupted after a fire near the railway tracks damaged signal system cables. The incident has caused a major signal failure, leading to train delays and overcrowding at stations along the route.

According to reports, the fire broke out in the grass near the tracks between Ambivali and Titwala stations, which also engulfed critical signal system cables. As a result, the signal system was shut down, bringing train movement to a standstill.
