On Sunday, April 5, 2026, there will be no block in the daytime on the Western Line. However, Central, Harbour and Trans-harbour lines to see disruption to local train services as several trains will be suspended, delayed, diverted, and rescheduled due to essential maintenance work, including track alignment.
Central Line
A 10‑hour block will run between Thane and Dombivli until 10 am. This will impact slow and fast local trains in both directions, with several services short‑terminated or cancelled on Sunday. Commuters are advised to check station charts for revised timings.
Harbour Line
On the Harbour line, up and down local train services between Vashi and Panvel will be suspended from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm on Sunday. Up Harbour line trains towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) departing Panvel from 10.33 am to 3.49 pm and down Harbour line trains to Panvel/Belapur departing CSMT from 9.45 am to 3.12 pm will be cancelled. Special local trains will operate between CSMT and Vashi to ease the impact.
Trans‑Harbour Line
Trans‑Harbour line operations will be limited to Thane–Vashi during the block from 11.05 am to 4.05 pm. Up services towards Thane departing Panvel from 11.02 am to 3.53 pm and down services towards Panvel departing Thane from 10.01 am to 3.20 pm will be cancelled.
