Mega Block January 25, 2026 - Mumbai Local Train: Local train services on the Central, Western and Harbour lines will be affected due to a scheduled mega block on Sunday, January 25, 2026. The block has been planned for maintenance work. Services on the Trans-Harbour and Uran line will remain normal, as no block has been announced. Passengers have been advised to check train timings, plan their travel in advance, and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.

Western LineMahim – Goregaon Up and Down Harbour Line - From 10 am to 4 pm

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment, a jumbo block will be taken on the Up and Down Harbour lines between Andheri and Goregaon from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm, and between Mahim and Andheri from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm, on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

During the block period, all CSMT–Bandra–CSMT and CSMT/Panvel–Goregaon–CSMT/Panvel Harbour line train services of Central Railway, along with some slow services between Churchgate and Goregaon, will remain cancelled.

Central LineMatunga – Mulund Up and Down Fast Lines - From 11.05 am to 3.45 pm

Down fast line services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.36 am to 3.10 pm will be diverted to the Down slow line at Matunga station, halting as per their respective scheduled halts between Matunga and Mulund stations, and will arrive at their destinations 15 minutes behind schedule. Fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted to the Down fast line at Mulund station.

Up fast line services leaving Thane from 11.03 am to 3.38 pm will be diverted to the Up slow line at Mulund station, halting as per their respective scheduled halts between Mulund and Matunga stations. These services will be re-diverted to the Up fast line at Matunga station and will arrive at their destinations 15 minutes behind schedule.

Harbour Line - CSMT – Bandra / Chunabhatti Up and Down Harbour LinesFrom 11.10 am to 4.40 pm

Down Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel, leaving CSMT from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm, and Down Harbour line services to Bandra/Goregaon, leaving CSMT from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm, will remain suspended.

Up Harbour line services for CSMT, leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm, and Up Harbour line services for CSMT, leaving Goregaon/Bandra from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm, will also remain suspended.

Special services will run between Panvel and Kurla at a frequency of every 20 minutes during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via the Main Line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm during the block period.
