Mumbai Local Train Mega Block on March 1, 2026: Services to Be Affected on Central, Western and Harbour Lines on Sunday

Mumbai local train mega block: Suburban railway service will be affected due to the schedule mega block for planned maintenance work on March 1, 2026.  The essential maintenance includes track alignment, overhead wire fixing and solving signalling issues. 

Central line mega block 

CSMT Mumbai-Vidyavihar Up an down slow line from 10:55 am to 3:55pm 

DOWN slow services departing CSMT Mumbai from 10.48 hrs to 15.45 hrs will be diverted on DOWN fast line between CSMT Mumbai and Vidyavihar stations and will halt at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion and Kurla stations and further re-diverted on DOWN slow line at Vidyavihar station.

UP slow services departing Ghatkopar from 10.19 hrs to 15.52 hrs will be diverted on UP fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT Mumbai stations and will halt at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel and Byculla stations.

Harbour Line:

Kurla-Vashi and Dn harbour Lines from 11:10 am to 4:10pm 

DOWN Harbour line services to Vashi/Belapur/Panvel leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.34 hrs to 15.36 hrs and UP HARBOUR line services towards CSMT Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.17 hrs to 15.47 hrs will remain cancelled.

Special suburban trains will run on CSMT Mumbai – Kurla & Panvel – Vashi sections during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Thane-Vashi/Nerul stations from 10.00 hrs to 18.00 hrs during the block period.

Western line: Mumbai Central up and down slow lines from 10:35 to 3:35pm 

On the UP and DOWN Slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central for maintenance of track, signalling systems and overhead equipment.

The block will be undertaken for a duration of five hours from 10:35 hrs to 15:35 hrs. During the block period, all Slow line trains will be operated on the Fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central. Also some UP and DOWN suburban services will remain cancelled, while certain Churchgate-bound trains will be short-terminated and reversed from Bandra/Dadar.
