At around 12:10 PM on Sunday, two coaches of an empty EMU train derailed while entering Mumbai Central Station. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, as the train was not carrying any passengers. Train services on the slow track between Churchgate and Mumbai Central have been temporarily suspended. To maintain operations, trains are being diverted to the fast line on this route.

According to officials from Western Railway, “Two coaches of an empty EMU derailed while approaching Mumbai Central at approximately 12:10 PM. The slow track from Churchgate to Mumbai Central is currently blocked, but trains are being redirected to the fast line, allowing services to continue despite the disruption.”
