A young couple in their early twenties found themselves in grave danger near Taj Lands End as a high tide rapidly rose around them. Unaware of the impending danger, the couple struggled as the water quickly filled the area. However, three brave locals from Ganesh Nagar, Bandstand, were quick to notice their distress. In the afternoon afternoon around 1:30 pm, a young couple in their early twenties found themselves in a perilous situation as high tide began to rise rapidly near Taj Lands End, Bandstand. Unaware of the imminent danger, the couple was quickly engulfed by water, which rose to about nine feet.

However, three brave locals from Ganesh Nagar, Bandstand, acted swiftly to avert a disaster. Nilesh (26), Anish (18), and Akash (18) didn’t hesitate for a moment—springing into action, they swam through the rising water to reach the stranded couple. Within just 15 minutes, the trio successfully rescued the distressed pair, ensuring their safety before the situation escalated further. As soon as the rescue was completed, the Bandra Police arrived at the scene to monitor the situation and confirm everyone's safety. The couple, unharmed but shaken, was taken to the Bandra Police Station for additional support. The timely and courageous actions of by the locals prevented a potentially tragic incident, showcasing the strength of community spirit in the face of danger.
