Mumbai Mega Block on April 13, 2025: Local Train Services To Be Affected on Central, Harbour and Western Lines on Sunday

Western Railway has announced that mail train services will be suspended and shortly terminated on April 12 and 13 due to the midnight block scheduled between Mahim and Banda railway stations.

Local train services in the Mumbai division will be affected on Sunday, April 13, as Central Railway has announced a Mega Block for engineering and maintenance work on its suburban routes. According to details, the Sunday Megablock will be imposed between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar on both up and down slow lines from 10.55 am to 3.35 pm.

However, Western Railway has announced that mail train services will be suspended and shortly terminated due to the midnight block scheduled between Mahim and Banda railway stations on April 12 and 13. 

Central Line Block

Down slow trains departing from CSMT between 10:48 am and 3:32 pm will be diverted to the down fast line between CSMT and Vidyavihar. These trains will halt at Byculla, Parel, Dadar, Matunga, Sion, and Kurla, and will be re-diverted to the down slow line at Vidyavihar.

During the block, suburban train services will not be available at Masjid, Sandhurst Road, Chinchpokli, and Currey Road stations.

Up slow trains leaving Ghatkopar between 10:19 am and 3:29 pm will be diverted to the up fast line between Vidyavihar and CSMT. These trains will stop at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar, Parel, and Byculla.

Again, no services will be available at Currey Road, Chinchpokli, Sandhurst Road, and Masjid stations during this time.

Last and First Trains:

The last local before the block will leave CSMT at 10:07 am, and the first train after the block will depart at 3:40 pm.

From Kalyan to CSMT, the last train before the block will depart at 9:13 am, and the first train post-block will leave at 2:41 pm.

Western Line Block

1) Train No. 12927 DDR EKNR SF EXP ( Dadar - Ekta Nagar) dated 12.04.25 will be Short Originated from Borivali station instead of Dadar station. 

2) Train No. 19003 Khandesh Exp ( Dadar - Bhusaval jn) dated 13.04.25 will be Short Originated from Borivali station instead of Dadar station.

3) Train No. 19015 Saurashtra Exp ( Dadar - Porbandar) dated 13.04.25 will be Short Originated from Borivali station instead of Dadar station.

4) Train No. 59024 Valsad - Mumbai Central Passenger train dated 13.04.25 will be Short Terminated at Borivali station instead of Mumbai Central station.

5) Train No. 59045 Mumbai Central - Vapi Passenger train dated 13.04.25 will be Short Originated from Borivali station instead of Mumbi Central station.

Harbour Line Block:

A Mega Block will also be in place between Kurla and Vashi (up and down Harbour Line) from 11:10 am to 4:10 pm.

Down Harbour Line services from CSMT to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi scheduled between 10:34 am and 3:36 pm will be cancelled.

Up Harbour Line services from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi to CSMT between 10:16 am and 3:47 pm will also be cancelled.

Special services will run between CSMT–Kurla and Panvel–Vashi during the block.

Harbour Line passengers are allowed to travel via Thane–Vashi/Neral stations between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.
