Mumbai Mega Block on March 9, 2025: Local Train Services to Be Affected on Central and Harbour Lines on Sunday; Check Details for Western Line

The Central Railway will carry out a mega block on Sunday, March 9, for maintenance work. Train services on the Central and Harbour lines will be impacted.  On the Central Line, fast trains between Matunga and Mulund will shift to the slow track from 11:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Trains may be delayed by 15 minutes. Kasara services will be affected between 11:40 a.m. and 12:10 p.m. Another block will be in place from 4:00 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. Several trains to Kasara and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus will be short-terminated or will start from alternate stations.

On the Harbour Line, services between CSMT and Bandra will remain suspended from 11:10 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. Trains between CSMT and Chunabhatti will also be halted during this period. Passengers can use the Main Line and Western Line between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

No blocks have been planned for the Transharbour, Uran, and Western lines.

DN fast line services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 10.56 am to 3.10 pm will be diverted on DN slow line at Matunga station halting as per their respective halts between Matunga and Mulund stations and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. Fast trains beyond Thane will be re-diverted on DN fast line at Mulund station

UP fast line services leaving Thane from 11.03 am to 3.38 pm will be diverted on UP slow line at Mulund station, halting as per their respective halts between between Mulund and Matunga stations and will be re-diverted on UP fast line at Matunga station and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule

Kasara local (N-11) leaving CSMT at 09.34 hrs will be short terminated at Asangaon.

Kasara local (N-19) leaving CSMT at 13.10 hrs will be short terminated at Kalyan.

Local for CSMT (N-16) scheduled to leave Kasara at 11.10 hrs will short originate from Asangaon.

Local for CSMT (N-26) scheduled to leave Kasara at 16.16 hrwill short originate from Kalyan.

𝐂𝐒𝐌𝐓 - 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 / 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐢 𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟏.𝟏𝟎 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟒.𝟒𝟎 𝐩𝐦

DOWN Harbour line services to Vashi / Belapur /Panvel departing CSMT from 11.16 am to 4.47 pm and DOWN services to Bandra / Goregaon departing CSMT from 10.48 am to 4.43 pm will remain cancelled

UP Harbour line services from Panvel/Belapur/Vashi for CSMT departing Panvel from 9.53 am to 3.20 pm and UP services from Goregaon / Bandra for CSMT departing Bandra from 10.45 am to 5.13 pm will remain cancelled.

However, Special services will run between Panvel-Kurla-Panvel during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Western Line stations from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
