The Siddhivinayak metro station, part of Mumbai Metro line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, is now welcoming commuters. The underground railway station is located nearby the famous Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. This new station will ease traffic congestion and help improve air quality in the area. The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) shared the first look of Siddhivinayak Metro Station, adjacent to the renowned Shri Siddhivinayak Mandir, and shared the first look of the newly constructed metro station in the suburbs.

"Here's an exclusive glimpse of Siddhivinayak metro station built near one of #Mumbai’s most revered temples, where devotion meets engineering. Navigating tight spaces and constant crowds, the station was constructed with extra care and coordination. Today, it brings thousands closer to blessings with ease, speed, and respect.," said MMRCL in a post on X.
The Aqua line of Mumbai Metro, includes 10 stations in the first phase. The Siddhivinayak metro station also link Dadar Beach and Ravindra Natya Mandir, as well as other sites.
Mumbai Metro's underground metro connects 10 stations: BKC (Bandra-Kurla Complex), Bandra Colony, Santacruz, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA T1), Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA T2), Sahar Road, Marol Naka, Andheri, SEEPZ, and Aarey Colony JVLR (Joint Venture Land Resource).

Meanwhile, the remaining line of the Mumbai Metro-3 will be completed in two more phases: BKC to Worli and Worli to Cuffe Parade. The phase 2 stretch will cover the following stations: Dharavi, Shitaladevi Temple, Dadar, Siddhivinayak Temple, Worli, and Acharya Atre Chowk.
Phase 3 of the Mumbai Metro-3, on the other hand, will have the following stations: Science Museum, Mumbai Central, Mahalaxmi, Grant Road, CSMT, Hutatma Chowk, Girgaon, Kalbadevi, Churchgate, Vidhan Bhavan, and Cuffe Parade.
