An MNS office-bearer is being assaulted in the Ramdev Park area of Mira Road East, Mumbai. A complainant Swapnil Takse has filed a police complaint. According to the complaint, on April 8, 2026, at around 3:30 pm, Takse had gone with party workers to inspect excavation work taking place near Ramdev Park Bhaji Mandai. While they were recording a video, Ravana Thakur allegedly arrived at the spot and began arguing and threatening them.
As the argument escalated, the accused allegedly picked up a stone and threw it at Takse, which struck his ear and caused injury. Shortly afterwards, Naveen Singh Thakur, Krishna Singh, Golu Singh and several unidentified individuals allegedly attacked Takse with wooden sticks and iron rods. The complaint also states that the accused brought a knife. Takse sustained injuries in the attack, and the activists accompanying him were also threatened.
Following the incident, the police have registered a case against the accused and initiated further investigation.
