Several passengers were injured after a Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) bus collided with a pickup truck on Aarey Colony Road in Mumbai's Goregaon area on Tuesday morning, June 17. The accident led to a significant traffic jam during peak hours. 

According to the local police, some bus passengers suffered minor injuries in an accident. Police officials from Aarey station are investigating the incident at the site.

As per the initial investigation, no serious injuries were reported in the accident. Traffic police have also been deployed to manage the congestion and clear the roadway.

Meanwhile, another mishap on Monday occurred with a BEST Bus after a road cave-in near the Metro Line 3 construction site of Girgaon Metro Station. The incident occurred around 9.30 am due to traffic disruption in the area. The bus was operating on Route No. 121 from Backbay Depot to J. Mehta Marg.
