Mumbai: Pet owner booked for negligence after her pet dog allegedly bit and seriously injured injured an electrician in Andheri East. This incident occurred on Wednesday at 10 pm when the injured man, Sanjay Panchal (42), was returning home on foot after dinner at a friend's place. Following the incident, FIR was registered against Soni Pandey after her pet suddenly bit Panchal on his right hip near the Hanjar Nagar Pump House area, close to Jai Mahakali Chawl in Andheri East.
According to TOI report victim tried to push away dog and when local residents came he released his trouser and ran towards Babu Rewala Chawl. Knowing about the chaos several residents gathered including dog owner who got into argument. After fight victim dailed 100 and sought police assistance.

MIDC Police reached the scene within five minutes and confirmed the dog belonged to Pandey, a resident of Babu Rewala Chawl near the pump house. Police took Panchal to the station, advised a medical examination, and he was later treated at Trauma Hospital in Jogeshwari East before lodging a formal complaint.
