In a major crackdown on illegal e-cigarette trade, the JJ Marg Police conducted a raid at a warehouse in the city and seized e-cigarettes worth ₹22.55 lakh. The raid was carried out at Arif Mansoori & Sons, located on Bara Imam Road, Do Taki. The confiscated e-cigarettes were found to be gaining rapid popularity among the youth.

According to the police, they had received information about the illegal sale of expensive e-cigarettes. Acting on the tip-off, a police team raided the warehouse at Arif Mansoori & Sons on Bara Imam Road. During the raid, they found a stock of e-cigarettes belonging to the IGET Star brand. The entire consignment, valued at ₹22.55 lakh, was seized. The case was registered based on a complaint filed by police constable Tadvi.

Following the FIR, the police arrested three individuals—Nasir Hussain Khan (52), Farhan Ismail Mansoori (32), and Kazim Kamran Khan (25). They have been booked under Sections 4, 5, 7, and 8 of The Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2019.
