A 29-year-old man died, and his two friends were left injured after a state transport bus hit their scooter on March 13. The three men met with the accident at Prabhadevi bridge in central Mumbai. They were on their way to buy flowers for Holi celebrations.

The accident happened around 2:30 AM while they were on their way to the Dadar flower market from Kalachowki. The three victims were identified as Pranay Bodke, Karan Shinde, and Durvesh Gorde.

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) was heading to Pune, and on its way, it crashed with the two-wheeler. Bodke died on the spot, while Shinde and Gorde suffered serious injuries.

The bus driver was immediately taken into custody by the police. At the Bhoiwada police station, a case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Motor Vehicles Act.
