A major accident was averted at Kalyan Railway Station after an Railway Protection Force jawan acted swiftly and saved a woman and her one-year-old child from falling under a moving train.
RPF ASI Hemant Bhargude showed bravery by rescuing a woman and her 1-year-old child after she slipped while getting off a moving train. Both were saved safely under #OperationJeevanRaksha.

The incident took place on the evening of April 28, when a woman slipped while trying to deboard a moving train. Assistant Sub-Inspector Hemant Bhargude immediately rushed towards her and safely rescued both the mother and child.
The woman identified herself as Antima Shukla. She was travelling from Prayagraj to Mumbai with her one-year-old son.
The courageous rescue was carried out under “Operation Jeevan Raksha”, saving the lives of both mother and child.
CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced, and the brave act of the RPF jawan is being widely appreciated.
