A shocking incident took place in Juhu on Friday, where two North Indian women allegedly attacked a Marathi couple with a tile in an attempt to kill them over a minor dispute. The couple sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Cooper Hospital for treatment.

According to the police, the entire attack was captured on a nearby CCTV camera. Based on the footage, Juhu police have registered a case of attempted murder against Simran Pandey and Nitu Pandey. Further investigation is underway.

The victims have been identified as Amrit Nikam (48) and his wife Asha. The couple resides at Godgift Building on N.S. Road No. 13 in Juhu. The accused women, Simran Pandey and Nitu Pandey, also live in the same area.

Locals have alleged that these two women often harass residents and pick fights unnecessarily. A few days ago, they were seen feeding stray dogs near the building's water tank, which Amrit Nikam objected to. Since then, the duo had been engaging in frequent quarrels with the couple.

On Friday afternoon, Amrit Nikam was parking his motorcycle in a nearby lane when Simran and Nitu arrived and reignited their past conflict. They allegedly hurled abuses at Amrit and charged at him. The women reportedly threatened, "We won’t let you and your wife live today!" before assaulting him.

As Amrit’s wife, Asha, rushed to his rescue, the accused allegedly picked up a tile lying on the road and struck both Amrit and Asha on their heads, attempting to kill them. After the attack, the women fled the scene, screaming.

Local residents immediately rushed the injured couple to Cooper Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Based on the complaint, Juhu Police have registered a case of attempted murder against Simran and Nitu Pandey. Further investigation into the matter is ongoing.
