The number of crimes committed against women in Maharashtra has been rising considerably in recent years. Meanwhile, Titwala has revealed a startling incident. A bunch of local goons threatened to undress a woman and told her husband, "Send your wife to us if you want to stay here."

Reports state that some criminals attempted to strip a woman in the middle of the road and harass her at Titwala, which is close to Kalyan. Her husband was severely attacked by the assailants when he stepped in to defend her. The criminals continued to harass the woman and kept repeating their demands to her husband.

The incident's video has also gone viral on social media. Police, however, assert that the incident was the consequence of a disagreement between the parties and have filed non-cognizable (NC) accusations against both parties. They have promised that necessary action will be taken if the viral video offers verifiable proof.
