A shocking incident of alleged sexual assault on a three-year-old girl in a school toilet has come to light in the Bangur Nagar area. Based on the victim's statement, the Bangur Nagar police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The child informed that the incident took place inside the school toilet. However, the school authorities claim that no male staff members are employed in the school. The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the premises and recording statements from school staff.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on February 12. The child is accompanied to and from school by her mother. On the way home from school, the girl informed her mother about the discomfort she was experiencing. Concerned, the mother immediately contacted the school to inquire further. The school administration shared CCTV footage with the family, which showed 12 children being taken to the toilet by a female attendant and brought back after some time. No male staff members were seen entering or exiting the toilet area.

Following this, the child’s mother took her to a doctor. The medical examination could not conclusively determine if the child had suffered any form of abuse or infection. The doctors confirmed that there were no physical injuries. Based on the child's statement, the police have registered an FIR against an unknown person. The child was also asked if any female staff member at the school had caused her distress, but she denied it, stating that a “monster” was responsible for the incident.

The police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
