A 2000-kilometer underwater rail link between Mumbai and Dubai is a futuristic and innovative project that is expected to transform travel between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to a report by CNBC TV18. According to the report on Travel & Tour World, the high-speed train will go between 600 and 1,000 km/h, cutting the time it takes to get from Mumbai to Dubai to just two hours. In addition to breathtaking views of the underwater environment, passengers will have the unique opportunity to travel beneath the sea. The ambitious initiative, which is anticipated to improve economic links between India and the UAE, would cost billions of dollars to implement.

In addition to carrying passengers, the rail connection will offer a quicker and more effective way to ship commodities like crude oil from Dubai to India. According to the article, discussions are in progress to finish the train link by 2030, subject to approval. The National Advisor Bureau Limited of the United Arab Emirates has proposed the ambitious initiative, which intends to transform transport infrastructure and provide a competitive alternative to air travel. This rail line is anticipated to offer a quick, environmentally responsible, and effective means of transportation between the two nations, with a two-hour trip time.  The project is anticipated to establish a new standard for international travel and trade once it is finished, strengthening economic relations and improving connectivity between the two countries.

The Dubai-Mumbai train improves on the breakthrough 1994 Channel Tunnel between the UK and France. Beyond simply travelling quickly, passengers will be able to admire the colourful aquatic life through the train's translucent walls. It has already been named the "Deep Blue Express" by some people.
