Commuters in South Mumbai faced major traffic delays on Friday evening due to the Lola Poloza music event at Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The event led to congestion on several key routes, with southbound traffic moving at a slow pace from Haji Ali to Mahalaxmi Station (KK Road) and from Lotus to Haji Ali Junction.

Heavy vehicular movement in the area, combined with event-related traffic, resulted in prolonged delays for commuters. Authorities advised motorists to plan alternate routes to avoid bottlenecks near the venue.

Northbound lanes also experienced sluggish traffic flow on Peddar Road and Tardeo Road. Authorities attributed the congestion to the event, which is scheduled to continue until 10:00 PM. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes if possible.

In separate incident, due to oil spill at Byculla a traffic movement is slow at Byculla Y Bridge North Bound.
