Mumbai Police has issued traffic advisories in view of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s (MNS) annual Padwa Melava at Shivaji Park, Dadar on March 30, 2025. The event is expected to draw thousands of MNS supporters from across Maharashtra, which could lead to traffic congestion in the area. To ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety, Mumbai Police has released specific instructions.

 

Traffic Restrictions & No-Parking Zones

 

The following roads will be No-Parking Zones on March 30, 2025, from 2 PM to 12 AM:

 

SVS Road (from Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Yes Bank Junction)

 

Keluskar Road (South & North), Dadar

 

MB Raut Road

 

Pandurang Naik Road (Road No. 5)

 

Dadasaheb Rege Road

 

Lt. Dilip Gupte Road (from Shivaji Park Gate No. 4 to Sitladevi Temple Junction)

 

NC Kelkar Road (from Gadkari Junction to Hanuman Temple Junction), Dadar

 

 

Traffic Diversions & Alternative Routes

 

To regulate traffic, the following diversions will be in place:

 

1. SVS Road (Siddhivinayak Temple Junction to Yes Bank Junction)

 

Alternative Route: Siddhivinayak Junction → SK Bole Road → Agar Bazaar → Portuguese Church → Left Turn → Gokhale Road → LJ Road

 

2. Raja Badhe Chowk Junction to Keluskar Road (North), Dadar

 

Alternative Route: LJ Road → Gokhale Road → Steelman Junction → Right Turn → SVS Road

 

 

3. Southbound Traffic via Pandurang Naik Road to Lt. Dilip Gupte Road

 

Alternative Route: Raja Badhe Junction → LJ Road

 

4. Gadkari Chowk Junction to Keluskar Road (South & North), Dadar

 

Alternative Route: Use MB Raut Road

 

 

Parking Arrangements for Attendees

 

Mumbai Police has designated specific drop-off and parking locations for vehicles arriving from different parts of Mumbai and Maharashtra.

 

1. Vehicles from Western & Northern Suburbs

 

Vehicles from Western Express Highway will drop attendees near Matunga Railway Station to Senapati Bapat Road (Ruparel College area).

 

Parking locations:

 

Mahim Reclamation (Reti Bandar)

 

India Bulls Finance Centre PPL Parking

 

Kamgar Stadium

 

Senapati Bapat Road

 

Light vehicles: Kohinoor PPL Parking

 

 

 

2. Vehicles from Eastern Suburbs (Thane & Navi Mumbai)

 

Vehicles from Eastern Express Highway will drop attendees at Dadar TT Circle.

 

Parking locations:

 

Five Gardens, Matunga

 

RAK 4 Road

 

 

3. Vehicles from South Mumbai

 

Vehicles via Veer Savarkar Road will drop attendees at Ravindra Natya Mandir.

 

Parking locations:

 

India Bulls Finance Centre PPL Parking (Appasaheb Marathe Road)

 

Vehicles via BA Road will drop attendees at Dadar TT Circle.

 

Parking locations: Five Gardens & RAK 4 Road

2. Kamgar Stadium (Senapati Bapat Road)

 

 

3. India Bulls Finance Centre PPL Parking, Elphinstone

 

 

4. Kohinoor PPL Parking, Shivaji Park

 

 

5. Appasaheb Marathe Road

 

 

6. Five Gardens, Matunga

 

 

7. Reti Bandar (Mahim)

 

 

8. RAK 4 Road

 

 

 

Attendees are advised to follow the designated routes and parking instructions to avoid inconvenience. Mumbai Police will deploy additional personnel to manage the traffic and ensure smooth movement around Shivaji Park.
