Under the ongoing “Operation Yatri Suraksha,” personnel of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus averted a major mishap and saved the life of a passenger on board Train No. 12546 Raxaul Express. The incident took place while the train was there on Platform No. 1 at LTT station in Mumbai. Acting swiftly during their deployment duty, Sub-Inspector R.P. According to officials, at around 3:38 pm, a 22-year-old passenger identified as Kundan Kumar, a resident of Madhubani district in Bihar, attempted to board the moving train from the Kalyan end. He was travelling on a general ticket from LTT to Darbhanga. While trying to open the door and get into the moving coach, he lost his balance and slipped into the gap between the platform and the train, triggering panic among bystanders.

The passenger was subsequently questioned and examined for injuries. He informed officials that he had not suffered any major injuries and wished to continue his journey urgently. As a precautionary measure, he was taken to the RPF post, provided first aid, and later escorted back safely onto the Raxaul Express to proceed towards his destination.
