Mumbai Weather Update: City Records Temperature Above 30 Degree Celsius, AQI Improves

March began with the intense heat across the state with temperature crossing the 35 degree Celsius mark in many cities. On Saturday March 14, 2026, some parts of state have recorded the temperature above 40 degree Celsius. Mumbai weather is humid and hot and temperature will be between 23 degree C and 35 degree. 

Warning has been issued by weather department  about increasing discomfort due to high humidity levels. AQI in city is at 56, placing it in the ‘Moderate’ category. Met has predicted the heat wave in the state will be increased. Hot and humid weather has been predicted in  Palghar, Thane and Raigad districts. Pune city recorded 39 degree Celsius and seeing at rising temperature Municipal Corporation has urged citizen to take proper care. 

Meanwhile, Akola recorded the highest temperature of this summer season which is 42 degree Celsius in the second week of march and this is likely to increase further.
