The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has given a 24-hour forecast for Mumbai and suburbs expecting clear sky in the city with maximum daytime temperature likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius, while evening temperature is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius on Friday, April 10.
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) remains under the ‘satisfactory’ category in the city at 96 today, according to the Pollution Control Board’s Sameer App.
Maharashtra Weather Update
Several districts in Maharashtra are expected to experience hot and humid conditions, including the Konkan region, on Friday. A yellow alert has been issued in Konkan.

Odisha and its surrounding areas are under cyclonic circulation, and a low-pressure area is active due to the disruption of the wind flow from it to the Gulf of Mannar. As the pre-monsoon rains have opened up in the state, the maximum temperature in the state has started increasing.
On Thursday (9th), Washim and Akola recorded the highest temperature in the state at 38.4 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at the Agricultural College in Dhule at 17.0 degrees Celsius. Rainfall with lightning at isolated places in Satara, Kolhapur, Sangli, Solapur, Dharashiv, and Latur districts.
