Gusty winds between 30 and 40 kmph are expected at isolated places in the city over the next three to four hours. Residents are advised to take precautions while stepping out. The city woke up to humid conditions on Friday, April 4. Scattered showers earlier in the week have contributed to rising humidity levels. On Thursday, Mumbai recorded a minimum temperature of 24 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 31 degrees. Morning humidity was at 43 per cent.

The air quality index (AQI) in Mumbai is 90, which is considered satisfactory. Most people will not be affected, but those who are sensitive to pollution may have minor health issues. An AQI below 50 is good, while a reading above 300 is dangerous.
