The Worli Police have registered an FIR against a BMW driver for reckless and high-speed driving on the Coastal Road, which led to a severe accident. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

 

According to the police, the accused, 24-year-old Rishabh Aneja, was driving at excessive speed when he lost control of the vehicle. The footage shows the BMW speeding from south to north on the Coastal Road, overtaking another vehicle dangerously. While attempting to apply brakes, the car swerved between lanes and crashed into the road railing, causing significant damage.

 

Senior Inspector Ravindra Katkar confirmed that an FIR has been lodged against Aneja, a resident of Juhu, and further legal proceedings are underway. The accident occurred around 11 AM on Sunday, just hours before the scheduled movement of the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister at 3 PM. Following the crash, the vehicle was promptly moved to the side of the road, and no injuries were reported.

 

Police stated that Aneja was traveling from Worli to Bandra when the accident took place. The investigation is ongoing.
