Mumbai, Maharashtra (March 19, 2025): The Youth Congress staged a protest in Mumbai on Wednesday over unemployment, law and order, women’s safety, education, and farmers' issues. Party leaders demonstrated wearing handcuffs on their hands.

The  Yuva Aakrosh Morcha, was led by Indian Youth Congress National President Uday Bhanu Chhib and Maharashtra Youth Congress President Kunal Raut. Protesters traveled from Pune to join the demonstration, which began at the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) office and moved toward the Vidhan Bhavan.

According to reports, the demonstrators planned to surround the Vidhan Bhavan, but police had set up barricades around the premises. Protesters attempted to climb the barricades, leading to heightened tensions.  As the protesters neared the Vidhan Bhavan, police intervened, resulting in a confrontation. Several Congress workers were detained as the situation escalated.
