Mumbai’s first elevated walkway amid trees, designed to preserve the natural habitat, is now open in South Mumbai. Located at Malabar Hill, the Nature Elevated Trail offers an eco-friendly recreational space while promoting environmental awareness. To manage crowd flow, only 200 visitors will be allowed per time slot.

A Step Toward Conservation

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has launched this initiative to raise awareness about environmental protection and pollution control. Inspired by Singapore’s Tree Top Walk, this eco-tourism project is expected to draw visitors from across India and abroad.

Entry, Timings & Ticketing

Open daily from 5 AM to 9 PM

Online ticketing system for visitor management

Ticket prices: ₹25 for Indian citizens, ₹100 for foreign tourists

Limited to 200 visitors per time slot

Barcode-based entry and exit for smooth operations

Bookings open 15 minutes before each slot

Security & Biodiversity Conservation

BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani has directed officials to maintain strict security and cleanliness for the project's sustainability. A dedicated control center will monitor visitor flow and respond to emergencies.

The trail showcases Mumbai’s rich biodiversity, featuring over 100 plant species, diverse birdlife, and reptiles. Through this initiative, the BMC invites citizens to connect with nature and celebrate Mumbai’s green heritage.
