A shocking episode of violence near Nisha Bar under the jurisdiction of Tulinj Police Station has once again highlighted growing concerns over law and order in Nalasopara. The incident has intensified public debate about rising criminal activities in the area, particularly during late-night hours. Residents say such occurrences are becoming alarmingly frequent, creating insecurity among locals. The brutal nature of the assault has sparked outrage, with many questioning whether adequate preventive measures are being taken to curb unlawful activities and maintain peace in the locality.

The violent confrontation reportedly took place around 2:30 am in Vardhaman Nagar, where a young man was allegedly attacked in a manner that could have proved fatal. Eyewitness accounts and widely circulated video clips suggest that the assailants used steel rods during the assault. Initial information indicates that the clash may be connected to the unchecked illegal liquor trade operating near Nisha Bar. Locals claim that disputes related to these unlawful activities often escalate into serious violence, yet decisive enforcement action appears to be lacking.

Repeated incidents of late-night crime have fueled criticism against the local police administration. Many residents allege that enforcement agencies fail to maintain strict vigilance after permissible business hours, allowing unlawful liquor sales to continue without interruption. According to locals, the limited police presence during the night has emboldened anti-social elements, leading to frequent altercations and physical attacks. “Had authorities strictly curbed illegal sales beyond the permitted time, this attack would not have occurred,” a resident remarked. Although an official complaint has been filed, skepticism persists among citizens regarding meaningful action.
