A truck recently fell into a 20-feet pit in the Bandra area, which had been dug by the BMC Sewerage Operations department for work on underground sewage lines. The pit, located opposite the KFC on Linking Road, was part of the ongoing construction activities.

The incident occurred around midnight, and a distress call prompted a swift response from the Mumbai Police. The team arrived promptly at the scene, ensuring safety and preventing any further harm to people or property nearby. A crane was deployed to lift the stranded truck out of the pit, successfully clearing the site.
