Nagpur, June 4

One crore people should be vaccinated every day in the country. City Congress and district Congress have demanded and submitted a memorandum to the President through district collector.

Congress city president and MLA Vijas Thakre delegation of Vikas Thackeray and district Congress president Rajendra Mulak along with Congress workers handed over the memorandum.

Vaccine is an effective solution to the corona pandemic. However, the central government is slowly implementing the vaccination campaign and it will take a few years to complete the vaccination at this pace.

Slow vaccinations can be fatal, when specialist doctors are hinting at a possible third wave of corona.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi, former PM Dr Manmohan Singh, MP Rahul Gandhi, state president Nana Patole have also advised the central government to provide free vaccines to the people. Congress has alleged that the Centre has been ignoring it.

State Congress secretary Atul Kotecha, Dr Gajraj Hatewar, Sanjay Mahakalkar, Prashant Dhavad, Pankaj Nighot, Ajay Hatewar, Pankaj Thorat, Vijay Raut, Nikhil Dhande were present.
