Jitendra Ghordadekar has been appointed as the coach of the district team. The athletes were selected on the basis of their performance in the recently held district championship and relay trials. The Navmaharashtra won overall championship in the district event. union minister Nitin Gadkari, Bhau Kane outstanding coach award recipient badminton coach Kiran Makode, president of NKM Dhananjay Kane, secretary Prashant Jagtap, former international athlete and Shiv Chhatrapati awardee Charulata Naigaonkar have congratulated the athletes. The athlete are being trained by Jitendra Ghordadekar, Vaishali Chatare, Sayali Waghmare, Ritesh Anand, Naresh Shelke and Avantii Hatwar.
