Nagpur, Dec 19

The police has arrested two accomplice of Vijay Gurnule and confiscated `1.7 crore from them. Accused Tulsiram Jengthe (57), resident of Rajura, Shivnagar Ward and Alok Mehsram(28) resident of Balaghat, Ramapalli. The information was disclosed by Zone II police deputy commissioner Noorul Hasan during a press conference. A total of 15 people have been arrested in this case.

The police has recovered `3 crore cash, five vehicles, jewellery worth `20 lakhs and three flats till date. Jengthe is an employee of WCL and Meshram works as an agent. Thousands of people have invested in Gurnule’s company to the tune of crores of rupees. The police has arrested both of them and remanded them to PCR till December 22.

A total of 12,500 investors have lost their money and around 750 of them have registered complaint on WhatsApp. Pratap Nagar station incharge Bhimrao Khandale was also present during the conference.
